Who are we?

Students in Research (SiF) Stockholm is a student association that originally started as a subgroup within the Medical Section but has gradually become more international and interdisciplinary. SiF serves as a bridge between students at Karolinska Institutet and researchers through workshops, journal clubs, and inspiring seminars, as well as by highlighting various opportunities for students to engage in research-related activities.

At our events, you can learn about life as a researcher both within and beyond academia, explore the latest technologies and discoveries, and expand your social network by connecting with accomplished scientists and other research-interested students.

We also maintain a supervisor list that features various research groups willing to collaborate with one or more students! We try to update the list annually, and if you know of a group that might be interested in joining, please feel free to reach out to us.
